The quiet click that keeps busy hands calm.
A tactile tracing board with no lights, no sounds, no batteries, and no surprises. Just the gentle, repeatable pop of magnetic beads under a small hand. Loved by SPED teachers, OTs, and the kids they work with.
Designed around the senses, not against them
Most "educational" toys compete for a child's attention with flashing lights and electronic songs. TraceMagic does the opposite. One texture, one gentle sound, one predictable cause and effect, repeated as many times as a child wants. That's why sensory seekers settle into it, and why parents describe it as the toy that finally brings the volume of the room down.
Touch
Smooth beads rise under the pen and press back down under a fingertip. Deep, satisfying tactile feedback with every stroke.
Sound
A soft, consistent click as each bead pops up. Never startling, never electronic, always the same.
Order
Beads line up in clean rows and letter shapes. Deeply satisfying for kids who love to line things up and watch patterns complete.
Everything it doesn't do is the point
"As an Early Childhood Special Education teacher of over 20 years, this is an excellent tool to teach pre-writing skills for all learners. It provides feedback while writing with magnet beads. I have purchased a dozen of these boards for my classroom, friends, and relatives."Verified buyer, Early Childhood SPED teacher

"My four-year-old loves it. She has autism and is nonverbal, so my intention is to use it as a speller board. Right now she loves the magnet letters and reciting the alphabet, and eventually we'll use it for communication."
Verified buyer Parent"My 4 and 8 year old boys are both nonverbal and on the autism spectrum. The quality is wonderful and both kids seem to love it. My 4 year old is already using it as we speak."
Verified buyer Parent"Each magnet pops in with a sound, adding attraction for kids who also like to line objects up. No mess, no markers, no erasing. Great for the car or waiting areas. Highly recommend."
Verified buyer Parent"I pull this out when I'm losing my students' attention. It instantly gets them re-engaged. My students love this magnetic sensory toy, and it has held up to frequent classroom use. I ordered a second one."

Honest answers
Is it really quiet?
The beads make a soft, consistent click as they pop up. It's a gentle mechanical sound, similar to a pen click, never electronic and never loud. Most families describe it as calming rather than noisy.
Is it safe for kids who mouth objects?
The steel beads are permanently sealed inside the board and cannot come out. The only magnet is inside the attached pen. Supervise children who mouth toys heavily, and replace the board if it's ever cracked or damaged.
Will it hold up to heavy, repetitive use?
It's a solid single-piece board with no electronics and nothing to snap off, and teachers report it holding up to daily classroom use. If anything goes wrong in your first 30 days, we'll make it right.
Can it be used one-handed or hand-over-hand?
Yes. The board lies flat or sits in the lap, and the pen glides with light pressure, which makes hand-over-hand guidance comfortable for a helping adult.
Do you offer classroom or multi-board orders?
Yes. Many boards go home with teachers and therapists. Reach out through our contact page and we'll take care of you.
